1. What is CTPL Insurance?
Compulsory Third Party Liability (CTPL) is a motor vehicle insurance required by law for all vehicles to be registered. It covers the liability of the insured up to P200,000.00 on the death or bodily injury of any third party arising out of the use of the insured motor vehicle. For example, in case the insured vehicle hits a pedestrian, CTPL covers the expenses arising from the bodily injury/death of the pedestrian up to php200,000.00.

6. How do I know what inception date to put?
Inception refers to the date that your CTPL insurance takes effect. It is based on the last numeric digit of your plate number (plate ending). Please be guided by the table below. You have the option to backdate (for late registration) or forward date (for early registration).
