Compulsory Third Party Liability (CTPL) is a motor vehicle insurance required by law for all vehicles to be registered. It covers the liability of the insured up to P200,000.00 on the death or bodily injury of any third party arising out of the use of the insured motor vehicle. For example, in case the insured vehicle hits a pedestrian, CTPL covers the expenses arising from the bodily injury/death of the pedestrian up to php200,000.00.
